@Efercor yeh he does. FL has an amazing sequencer which no other program can take over. To date i haven't met a better sequencer and i used cubase, ableton, pro tools, and logic.

@cerulean94 I use ableton as well because the studio where i go for a mix down and mastering uses ableton. So because of that i had to move. As for the competant level i got on BBC and in the second round for a competition, so FL is doing the job so far lol. XD

@NightTranceDay Hmmm ok, not gonna agree with u as far as industry standard ur FL is quite intermediate at best... It was a starting interface for anyone who would eventually move to Reason but anyone that has ANY real market experience knows Ableton or Logic is almost the only way to go for progressive music... Of Course others like Pro Tools and others are post production tools but Fruity Loops??? Ur a little behind homie... Time to upgrade if ur at the competent level...

oh bummer now the alphabetical order is interfered with. Don't let your inner beasts loose.
ProTools: Great for recording, not designed to build midi
Reason: Looks hard and complicated when you don't know what hardware monitoring's essentials are. Although great if you give it a better look.
So for those who would count themselves as the whiners (which are occassionaly fewer then those who you would proclaim as whiners) there's always Rewire to solve your issues with others. End of lecture

Ableton: great overview, easy on first look and very easy MIDI editing. Although slightly harder to get phat sounds out off when you dont know what youre doing.
FL: Easy to learn, and opens doors if you dig deeper into it. Although it isnt really inviting you to do that.
Logic: Will sound great even when you don't know what you're doing, although the midi editing is kinda not intuitive. Other then fruity this gives more opportunity of digging in.
Garageband: noob version of logic.

what's with the DAW competition atmosphere always. there's simple reasons why a DAW would be better or worse and suit you more personally. Do I really need to list them? Well allright then. In Alphabetical order because otherwise the whining sets loose.

pc, mac same shit. the software is just a tool, like a hammer or a screwdriver. a $500 mac ratchet will do the same thing as a $30 craftman. its the user that makes good music. not a computer, i hate apple fan boys who think macs will give you better results lol just follow his method, ignore the software

anything for a pc?
