@Pinkyforreal The way i learnt guitar is first to look up basic scales, then play them slowly, faster and faster. after you can play scales perfectly pretty fast and remember them all, then learn chords and picking/fingering techniques. after that, it does take a while, learn how to play songs you know and try to improvise on how you play them. find out what key they are in, and try make a solo using the same scale. eg. if the song is a Amajor scale song, learn scale and improvise. good luck!
