Really pleased with the pdu,
Ok first off shipped fast and the product was in perfect condition.
I noticed the product dimensions say its 5.5 x 10 x 2.5 inches but in reality this is a typo. The real dimensions as with any 1u rackmount pdu it's 19 wide x 3.75 deep x 1.75 tall.
The other reviewer said the rack "ears" came attached which is obvious because they aren't removable. Also the power switch is a circuit breaker, most likely for 15 amps, not just an on/off switch. That is why it has off and then reset labeled on the breaker. Just makes sense to protect it from overloading. Mine anyway came with a protective cover over the switch to prevent accidentally powering off the pdu.
Overall does exactly what I needed, does it well and is well built. And for 35 dollars does it cheaper than any I found elsewhere.

As basic as it gets,
If all you need is more outlets in a rack mounted unit, then this will do. I had to open mine up for a custom installation so I got to look at the internals. Simple outlets wired one to another, no filtering, no conditioning of any kind. But, it works and it's cheap.

Good 1U PDU,
I ordered this unit to install in a new wall mount equipment rack at a non-profit for which I provide IT support. The PDU arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Unlike the picture, the unit I received has a translucent plastic cover over the switch to prevent it from being accidentally turned off -- a nice touch.
The PDU mounted easily and allowed me to clean up the rack wiring. Also, the PDU's 15 foot power cord is handy for installations where mains power may not be located near the rack.
Recommended.
